As far as I can recall, most memorable time of my life have been those moments spent in solitary. A place where I could create something new. Painting to me is like talking to a friend who allows to confide in my worries and fears without any judgment.

Aside from my burning passion for artwork, my formal education started at university where i studied industrial design. I was introduced to art theory and the design world. However, I had not felt fulfilled until I started painting under the supervision of two reputable Persian artists in 2010 and continued by taking art/design courses in OCAD University.

The result is an intense process of self-discovery in which I transformed my profound and personal anecdotes into universal narratives. The paintings are inspired by emotions from incidents and moments in life. Including my childhood memories and dreams. An impressive picture, movie, poem or book also have a significant role in the evolution of my work.

As of today, my paintings have been shown in several exhibitions in Tehran, Vancouver and Toronto, which have brought about satisfying feedback from visitors.
